HYDROGEN Bassist Quits
November 16, 2008Bassist Oliver Vowden has announced his departure from the Swedish power/thrash metal band HYDROGEN. "Due to differences in sound and direction, I have decided to leave to pursue my own material and ideas," Oliver said in a statement. "It's the best for the band and for me. Been a short but fun time and I wish HYDROGEN all the best in the future."
HYDROGEN's debut album, "Now is No Moreā¦", was released last year via Cutting Edge Records.
Formed in 2002, HYDROGEN's music combines "power and brutality with good melodies, with strong sense of rhythm and good songs to remember," according to the band's official bio.
